About Me

I grew up in western Connecticut (a few miles down the road from Crosswicks Cottage), but a lot of my stories are set in New Hampshire, because that’s where I live and I’ve grown to love it up here. I am married to an astonishingly patient woman named Lorraine who makes beautiful quilts and beaded jewelry. She also chases rare DX when our antennas aren’t on the ground. (Did I mention she’s astonishingly patient?) Together we’ve raised a son who is approaching thirty.

When I’m not writing love stories, I develop software for the web, and have been writing software for networks since 1982. I’m now developing cool web tools for electrical engineers at Analog Devices. For a break, I build little circuits in the basement, play keyboards and guitar, and sporadically join in tabletop role-playing games with local friends or at conventions.
